Department of Transportation, 49 CFR PART 172 -
Compliance Statement (Applies to all products)
The Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued regulations concerning the security of hazardous materials transported in commerce. The regulation requires shippers and carriers of certain highly hazardous materials to develop and implement security plans and assure that their employee-training program includes a security component. Some of these hazardous materials are transported to and from our facility.
In order to comply with DOT regulations, U.S. Oil Trading LLC requires all of its carriers to complete a compliance statement stating that the carrier has developed and implemented a security plan in accordance with DOT 49 CFR Part 172.
If the material being carried does not fall into the hazardous materials classification, please check the appropriate box and sign the compliance statement. Please contact, via e-mail, at deb@usor.com if you have any questions.
Please note, a CURRENT CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IS NEEDED ON FILE AT U.S. OIL FOR ALL THE TRUCKS ENTERING THE PREMISES.
